
Richmond Loses To East Carolina, 58-50

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Travis Holcomb-Faye scored 13 points while Erroyl Bing added 11 and 12 rebounds as East Carolina beat Richmond 58-50 on Tuesday night.
The Pirates (10-5, 2-2 Colonial Athletic Association) held a 36-29 rebounding advantage in the game and overcame 37.3-percent shooting for the win.
The Spiders (9-4, 2-2) didn't fare much better from the floor, hitting 39.6 of their shots. Richmond struggled from behind the 3-point arc, hitting only 5 of 25 attempts on the night.
The Pirates trailed 17-16 at half after shooting 23.1 percent. ECU rallied, hitting 52 percent from the floor and 6 of 14 3s in the second half.
East Carolina also owned an advantage at the free throw line, hitting 13 of 17 tries. The Spiders hit only 7 of 10 for the game.
Greg Stevenson led the Spiders with 19 points and eight rebounds. Mike Skrocki added 12 points.
