UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
Here's your chance to usher in the winter sports season with Richmond's head coaches. The second Spider Sports Breakfast of the year is set for Thursday November 15th from 7:30am until 8:30am at the Jepson Alumni Center.
Meet new women's swimming coach Matt Kredich, who during his nine-year tenure at Brown University, directed the Bears' women's swim program to the 1996 and 1997 Eastern Women's Swimming League Championships and the 1998 and 1999 Ivy League titles. During his tenure at Brown, Kredich coached two Olympians, plus numerous NCAA Qualifiers and NCAA All-Americans.
Say hello to the Spiders' new Director of Golf Operations Kevin Lynch, who coaches the men's team and is building the new women's program. Kevin comes to Richmond after spending three years as an assistant golf coach at his alma mater, Northwestern University.
Then sit back and listen to the morning's featured speakers - Head Men's Basketball Coach John Beilein and Head Women's Basketball Coach Bob Foley. Both coaches will give you an inside look at their programs as they begin the Spiders inaugural season in the Atlantic 10.
All this for just seven dollars per person - and all by 8:30am! Please make your reservations NOW - there's still time and room! Here's how to attend the Spider Sports Breakfast...
