Women's Lacrosse Selects Captains

Seniors Carrie Aitken (Paxton, Mass./St. Mark's) and Tracy Ransome (Marlton, N.J./Moorestown Friends) have been tabbed co-captains for the 2002 season as selected by their teammates.

Aitken has led the team in scoring the past two seasons. The senior attacker has netted 20 or more goals every season she has competed. She netted 37 goals this past Spring including six in one contest. Ransome, a versatile performer on the field, contributed three goals last season in only nine shots on goal.

The Spiders compete in the South of the Border Tournament in mid-February before opening up the 2002 campaign on March 5, 2002 hosting the American Eagles at 3:30 p.m.
