Richmond Women's Cross Country B Team Falls To VCU

RICHMOND, Va. -
Richmond's women's cross country "B" team fell to VCU's "B" squad, 26-29 today in Colonial Athletic Association action on the campus of the University of Richmond.
VCU placed the top three runners, paced by Laura Stewart (12:57), Rachael Taft (13:22) and Michelle Kidd (13:25). The Spiders were led by freshman Maria Jusseaume (Canton, Ohio), who finished third in 13:30. Other Spiders among the top ten finishers included Lauren Manero (Wilton, Conn.) who placed fifth in 13:31, sophomore Erin Brandt (Fanwood, N.J.) who placed sixth in 13:46, freshman Amy Hahn (Pittsburgh, Pa.) who finished seventh in 13:47, senior Tamika Williams (Southampton, Bermuda), who recorded a ninth place finish in 13:54 and freshman Anna Eder (Eldersburg, Md.) who came in tenth (14:13).
Richmond's women's cross country team competes in the CAA Championships on Saturday, October 28 at East Carolina University.
