Richmond Falls to Temple, 11-6

PHILADELPHIA
Richmond (0-4) dropped its fourth straight decision falling to Temple (3-2), 11-6 this afternoon at at Geasey Field. The Owls ended a two-game losing streak with the win.
The Spiders jumped out to the early lead taking a a 4-3 advantage of the break. It is the first halftime lead Richmond had posted this season. In the second half, Temple outscored its visitors 8-2 with Owls sophmore Deanna Radcliffe scoring four of her five goals in the second half.
Junior Carrie Aitken and sophomore Brooke Garnett scored two goals a piece for Richmond. Jessica Popham (1 goal) and Lacy Pica (1 goal) also scored for the Spiders.
Richmond faces Harvard tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. The contest will be played at Villanova.
