UNVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va.- The University of Richmond scored twice in the second half to post a 2-0 win over La Salle in Atlantic 10 women's college soccer action on Friday evening at First Market Stadium. The Spiders improve to 9-4-2, 6-2-0 Atlantic 10 while the Explorers drop to 7-7-1, 4-4-0 in the conference.
After a scoreless first half, the Spiders got on the board in the 55th minute. Junior Molly Rettig (Hummelstown, Pa.) shot the ball upfield to freshman Annette Isham (Denver, Colo.), streaking down the left side. Isham tapped the ball to Jenna Merriam (Voorhees, N.J.), just to the left of the box , who went top shelf for the game-winner.
