Women's Cross Country Earns NCAA All-Academic Honor

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND -- The University of Richmond women's cross country team earned NCAA Division I All-Academic honors after finishing the 2001-02 year with a team 3.26 grade point average. The Spiders were one of 75 programs to earn All-Academica Cross Country Team, With Distinction honors for compiling a GPA higher than 3.25.
Richmond was joined by Dayton, Duquesne, Rhode Island, Xavier and Saint Joseph's as Atlantic 10 schools to be honored.
Head Coach Lori Taylor and her squad begin the 2002 season at the Spider/Alumni open on Saturday, August 31.
