Freshman Diver Earns Atlantic 10 Accolades

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman diver Stephanie Pyle (Silver Spring, Md.) received the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for her performances in Richmond's win over James Madison. This is the third time this season a Spider has earned a Rookie of the Week honor.
Leading the diving events for Richmond, Pyle recorded season-bests in the 1-meter and 3-meter. She finished 10 points ahead of her nearest competition in the 1-meter event with a score of 233.925. In the 3-meter diving, Pyle scored a 216.15 to take first.
Richmond swimming returns to action this weekend in New York against Wagner on Friday, January 17 and Columbia on Saturday, January 18.
