Men's Tennis Competes in VCU 4-1 Invitational

Richmond, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team went 1-1 in the opening round of the VCU 4-1 Men's Tennis Invitational.
Richmond defeated Radford, 3-1, with Derek Schwant and Matt Cabana recording singles' wins and the duo of David Donn and Jeppy Moss won the doubles match.
In the evening match, Richmond fell to cross-town rival VCU. VCU?s doubles team of Marton Ott and Mats Norin recorded a 6-1, 4-6, 11-9 win over Niki Doll and Matthew Cabana. Ott and Norin were down 9-3 in the third-set tiebreaker and came back to win the final eight points of the match for the victory.
