UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The University of Richmond field hockey team captured its second consecutive Atlantic 10 championship when they defeated Temple University 3-1 in Philadelphia, Pa. November 8. The Spiders advanced to the final game after they defeated West Chester, 3-0, in the semi-finals.

Six Spiders were named to the All-Tournament team and they include, Allie Howard, Lydia Decembrino, Lesley Russell, Colleen Wevodau, Whitney Wells and Inge van Bogerijen.
