Richmond Women Face Massachusetts

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's team faces University of Massachusetts on Sunday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the William D. Mullins Memorial Center. Richmond, third in the western division, is coming off a 81-66 win over Duquesne on Thursday. Massachusetts was last in action the same night, suffering a 65-59 overtime loss to George Washington.
Richmond holds a 2-1 advantage in the series that begin in 1998 at the Terrapin Classic when the Spiders defeated the Minutewomen 72-59. Last season, the teams first met in a regular-season match up at the Robins Center and the Spiders recorded a 58-41 win. In the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament, Massachusetts took the 85-73 victory.
