Women's Tennis Falls in Atlantic 10 Championship Semi-Finals

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team suffered a 4-2 loss to #2 Temple in the semi-finals of the Atlantic 10 Championship. The third-seeded Spiders will face top-seed Xavier at 11:00 a.m tomorrow for the third-place finish. With the loss, Richmond falls to 8-9 on the year.
Seniors Casey Cohen (Ponte Vedre Beach, Fla.) and Monika Peets (Tallin, Estonia) won singles matches for Richmond. Doubles matches were not played.
Temple will face #4 Massachusetts in the title match.
