UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Junior right-hander Tim Stauffer (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) earned his league-leading third Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week accolade. Lacrosse's junior Polly Purcell (Ellicott City, Md.) received A-10 Player of the week as well.
Purcell earned her third Player of the Week citation of the year after leading Richmond to a 2-0 record this past week. In an 18-5 win over George Washington on April 17, Purcell had four goals and two assists and on April 20, she netted one goal and assisted on four in a 12-7 win over La Salle.
