
Women's Lacrosse Falls to Temple, 18-10

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Libby Berlacher (Villanova, Pa.) led Richmond with three goals and three assists in the Spiders' 18-10 loss to Temple University this afternoon at Geasey Field. Richmond falls to 6-5, 2-1 in conference play, while Temple improves to 6-4, 2-0 in Atlantic 10 action.
Junior Polly Purcell (Ellicott City, Md.) netted three goals and had one assist for the Spiders.
Temple's Deanna Radcliffe and Megan Condon each tallied six goals.
Temple opened the scoring in the first half and never trailed in the contest. The Owls led 9-5 at the half and outscored Richmond 9-5 down the stretch.
Richmond took 30 shots and recorded 22 ground balls.
Richmond faces American University on Wednesday, April 9 in the nation's capital. Game time is set at 3:30.
