UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's basketball team celebrated the 2002-03 season with its annual end of the year banquet held Friday, April 18, on the Richmond campus.
After welcoming remarks and a season review from Head Coach Joanne Boyle, Richmond's assistant coaches presented the year's awards. Below is a list of the winners.
Best Offensive Player: Ebony Tanner
Best Defensive Player: Kate Flavin and Amber Goppert
Best Rebounder: Kate Flavin
Best Free Throw Shooter: Elise Ryder
Most Improved: Alison Mitchell
Practice Player Award: Kate Flavin
Academic Award: Cammy Desmond
