Boncher And Adams Turn In Strong Performances

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Sophomore Brooke Boncher (West Newbury, Mass.) and junior Mary Adams (Williamsburg, Va.) turned in strong performances in their debut NCAA Championship runs. Boncher garnered All-American Honorable Mention accolades for the 100-yard butterfly and 50-yard freestyle.
Boncher finished with a 55.75 performance in the 100-yard freestyle. She also advanced to the finals and placed 10th in the 100-yard butterfly (59.54) and 11th in the 50-yard freestyle (25.26) in the first two days of competition.
Adams finished 28th in the 400 IM (4:47.03) and 40th in the 200 IM (2:15.98) this weekend.
Boncher and Adams combined to break eight records in the A-10 Championships and led the Spiders to their third-consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship.
