
Women's Tennis Defeats George Mason, 6-1

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team defeated George Mason University, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon on the University of Richmond campus. The Spiders record improves to 6-7, with the win.
The Spiders won the three doubles matches and claimed the early 1-0 lead. Richmond lost at the number one spot for singles, but swept the two through six positions. Freshman Robin Carter (Mendham, N.J.) recorded the win at the number three position and now posts a 9-4 spring record.
The Spiders return to the courts when they host Old Dominion on Wednesday, March 24 at 2 p.m.
