Women's Lacrosse Hosts A-10 Opponent Temple This Weekend

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's lacrosse team looks to break their three-game losing streak on Sunday when they host Temple University at noon. Last season, the Spiders (6-8, 2-3) fell to the Owls (7-6, 4-1) 18-10 in Philadelphia.
In Richmond's last outing, a 12-8 loss to Duquesne on Sunday, senior Libby Berlacher and sophomore Allison Nuzzi each scored two goals. Senior Polly Purcell currently leads the team in scoring with 33 goals and Nuzzi ranks first on the squad and tenth in the nation in assists with 23.
Nationally, the Spiders are 11th in draw controls per game (12.64) and 19th in ground balls per contest (24.57).
For Temple, senior Tiffany Pulaski, the current A-10 Player of the Week, ranks 18th in the country for goals per game (3.0).
