Intrepid Interns: Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete Spent Summer Abroad

Kristen Habicht, a senior at the University of Richmond and a double major in leadership studies and sociology, spent seven weeks as a teacher at Peace & Love International Foundation, a Christian-based orphanage/school in Accra, Ghana.
"I wanted to experience what it felt like to be a minority," she said. "I wanted to be challenged in my summer experience - to live like I had never lived before."
