
Spiders Fall To Fordham, 79-56

NEW YORK (AP) - Marcus Stout scored 18 points, all on 3-pointers, and Fordham ended a four-game losing streak by beating Richmond 79-56 Saturday.
Jermaine Anderson and Bryant Dunston added 15 points apiece for the Rams (5-8, 1-1 Atlantic 10). Mushon Ya Akosi added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Fordham, which led 44-22 at halftime, connected on 11 of 21 3-pointers. Stout was 6-for-8 from beyond the arc.
Jamall Scott topped the Spiders (5-7, 0-1), who lost their third straight game, with 14 points. Courtney Nelson scored 12, and Gaston Moliva 10.
Fordham, led by Stout's four 3-pointers, went on a 30-7 run to take command at 40-18.
Anderson's jumper gave Fordham its largest lead at 71-43.
