Newlywed Carrie Bush wasn't present to lend moral and vocal support when her husband, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Dave Bush, started against the Kansas City Royals yesterday in Toronto.
But don't think badly of her. Carrie, an assistant women's lacrosse coach at the University of Richmond, had athletic responsibilities of her own: She was - and still is - in Durham, N.C., to help prepare the Spiders for today's NCAA tournament first-round game against the Duke Blue Devils.
