Spider Football To Hold Annual Media Day At First Market Stadium

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Football team will host its annual Media Day this week at First Market Stadium. The event, scheduled for one hour Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m., will begin with a team picture of the 2005 squad, taken by Jay Paul of Jay Paul Photography, in the stands at First Market Stadium.
Head coach Dave Clawson will then meet with media members in attendance while the Spider players take individual photos by Action Sports. The event will wrap up with various individual interviews and photo opportunities, all on the field at First Market Stadium.
The Spiders open their 2005 season, Thursday, Sept. 1, at UR Stadium against No. 15 UMass. Kick-off against the Minutemen is slated for 7 p.m.
