Goloboski Garners Another Preseason Honor At Linebacker

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond junior linebacker Adam Goloboski added to his list of preseason honors Tuesday by being named Preseason First Team All-Atlantic 10 by I-AA.org.
The Hereford, Md., native also was listed second among the league's Top-5 linebackers as picked by the publication.
The 2005 Preseason All-Atlantic 10 selection led the Spiders with 116 total tackles in 2004, including 51 solo stops. One of Richmond's returning front seven, Goloboski ranked third in the A-10 last season with 10.5 stops which led to Third Team All-Conference honors following the season.
Wednesday, Aug. 17, the Spiders will hold their annual Media Day event at First Market Stadium at 10 a.m. Head Coach Dave Clawson and his squad kickoff the 2005 season Thursday, Sept. 1, when they host UMass at 7 p.m. at UR Stadium.
