Women's Tennis Falls In Season Opener

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team opened its 2006 season with a loss to No. 65 Marshall University on Friday afternoon at the Huntington Tennis Club in Huntington, West Virginia. Junior Jessica Hubbard and freshman Xenia Schneider each recorded their first singles win of the season in the Spiders' 5-2 loss to the Herd. The Spiders will return to action today as they play the University of Kentucky Cats at the Huntington Tennis Club.
