Richmond never trailed in a game for the first time this season. The game was tied once at 12-12.

Senior Kevin Steenberge scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and posted career highs in assists (5) and steals (3).

Sophomore Monty Sanders established a career-high with four assists.

Richmond is 6-2 when seniors Bucknor and Steenberge score in double figures.

Sophomore Oumar Sylla scored a career-high 10 points and dished out four assists.

Steenberge blocked three shots, giving him 43 this season, which is the seventh-most blocks by a Spider in a single season. He has 126 career blocks, which is fourth on Richmond's all-time list, seven behind Johnathan Collins (1999-03) for the third spot and nine behind Jeff Pehl (1979-83) for second.
