
Conrad Earns Fifth-Straight Weekly Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Honor

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Lindsey Conrad was named Atlantic 10 Field Hockey's Co-Rookie of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. Conrad has now won or earned a share of five-straight Rookie of the Week honors to end the season.
Conrad recorded a hat trick in Richmond's season finale win over Saint Louis, 5-0, Sunday. It was the sixth multi-goal of the season for Conrad, a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and marked her second-straight hat trick of the season. The forward also chipped in an assist in the game to finish with a team high seven points in the win over the Billikens. Conrad now leads the A-10 with an average of 4.00 points per game against A-10 opponents.
The 17th-ranked Spiders will remain at home this coming weekend when they host the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championships at Crenshaw Field. Richmond will play in the first game of the tournament at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3 against Temple.
