PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Mardy Collins scored 22 points and Temple held Richmond to its lowest point total in more than 60 years in a 69-30 victory on Wednesday night.
Temple (15-10, 8-6 Atlantic 10) scored the first 15 points of the game and the first 17 of the second half. The Owls allowed their fewest points in a game since beating West Chester 39-27 on Dec. 3, 1974.

Richmond was scoreless for the first 6:48 of the game and the first 12:09 of the second half. The Spiders didn't reach 30 points until Monty Sanders converted a pair of free throws with 2.6 seconds left.
Temple outrebounded Richmond 38-20, and the Spiders shot 12-for-45 (26.7 percent), including 4-for-29 from 3-point range.
Mark Tyndale finished with 17 for Temple, which improved to 11-1 at the Liacouras Center this season. The Owls face top-ranked Duke on Saturday.
