UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond field hockey team hosts William & Mary on Thursday at Crenshaw Field at 3:30 p.m.
The five-time defending Atlantic 10 Champion Spiders, who have clinched their sixth Atlantic 10 Tournament berth in as many years in the league, have just two regular season games remaining. Richmond will host Saint Louis on Sunday for Senior Day at noon.
Richmond seniors Erin Arthur and Tara Kelly will be playing their last two home games at Crenshaw Field this weekend. Arthur and Kelly were part of the last three Atlantic 10 Championships for the Spiders. Richmond will be going for its sixth-straight title Nov. 2-3 at Saint Joseph's.
Richmond sophomore Sarah Blythe-Wood leads the Spiders in scoring with six goals and 14 points. Junior Alex Malatesta and sophomore Adrian Pickar each have four goals apiece.
Kim Hedley leads William & Mary (8-9) in scoring with six goals, six assists and 18 points. Jessica Kacerek has four goals five assists and 13 points, while Laura Kastelic has three goals and three assists for 11 points. Jenna Cinalli has four goals and Lauren Giles has three goals and three assists.
