Russell Named To Academic All-Conference Team

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond senior Amanda Russell was named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team, in voting conducted among the conference's sports information directors.
Russell is a business administration major from North Bay, Ontario. She finished ninth at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Championships to earn all-conference honors for the second time in her career.
Russell was the second Spider to cross the finish line in a time of 18:28.80 and helped Richmond to a second-place finish.
