HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Richmond field hockey will play at James Madison on Friday night at 7 p.m. and then head to Baltimore to face Towson on Sunday at noon.
James Madison (4-1) is ranked No. 8 in the nation and has allowed just three goals in five games, two of which were at the hands of top-ranked North Carolina. The Dukes defeated then No. 6 ranked Penn State last weekend and their one loss was a 2-1 setback to the Tarheels.

The Spiders begin a six-game road swing against James Madison that takes them through the start of conference play on Oct. 5 at Temple. That road trip includes visits to Duke and Princeton.
Richmond does not return home to Crenshaw Field until Oct. 12 when the Spiders host West Chester.
Sophomore Sarah Blythe-Wood leads the Spiders (1-5) with four goals. Junior Alex Malatesta, sophomore Megan Thompson and freshman Sara Reese each have one goal.
