
Field Hockey Plays At No. 13 Duke

DURHAM, N.C. - The Richmond field hockey team will play at No. 13 ranked Duke on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Blue Devils play at No. 1 ranked North Carolina on Saturday, before facing the Spiders on Sunday. Duke is 4-4 on the season, coming off a 1-0 loss to No. 14 ranked Old Dominion.
Richmond has two more games before opening conference play at Temple on Oct. 5. The Spiders are playing their third-straight game away from home on Sunday. The Spiders will then travel to Princeton next Sunday, followed by two road games to open conference play.
Richmond finally returns home to face West Chester on Oct. 12 at Crenshaw Field.
Sophomore Sarah Blythe-Wood leads the Spiders with four goals and eight points. Junior Alex Malatesta and sophomore Megan Thompson are tied for second on the team with two goals and four points.
