With 123 yards rushing, Josh Vaughan posted the second-best ground game of his career. The senior was nine yard shy of his career-best 132 yards that came last season versus William & Mary. His two-TD effort tied a career-high he's set four other times.
Vaughan now has 19 career rushing TDs, moving him into eighth all-time at Richmond.
Now with 2,011 career rushing yards, Vaughan moved pass Jarvis Jennings (2.002 yards) into ninth on the Spiders' all-time list.
Andrew Howard drilled all eight PAT attempts to tie the career high he originally set versus VMI in 2006. The junior, who is Richmond's all-time leading scorer by a kicker (210 points), has made all 117 PATs in his career and continues to close in on the NCAA record for consecutive PATs made of 126.
The Spiders continue to dominate the second half and out-scored VMI 28-6 on Saturday. For the season, Richmond owns a 107-42 edge in the second-half scoring.
