THE TEAM

The Spiders made 31 field goals for the second-straight game. This was the fifth time in 11 games that Richmond has made at least 30 field goals. The Spiders have made at least 27 field goals in eight of 11 games.

The Spiders had a season-low nine turnovers and have had 12 or less turnovers in three of the last four games.

Richmond had 10 steals against Bucknell, giving Richmond double-figure steals in four of the last five games and at least eight steals in each of the last five games. The Spiders are averaging 10.6 steals per game in the last five games. Richmond has at least five steals in 43 of the last 45 games dating back to the 2006-07 season and is averaging 8.2 steals per game this season.

Richmond outrebounded Bucknell 36-34. It was the fifth time in 11 games that the Spiders have outrebounded the opposition and Richmond is 4-1 in those games.

All six of Richmond's victories have been by double-figures and their average margin of victory is 14.3 points.

Richmond shot 49.2 percent from the field against Bucknell. The Spiders have shot over 44 percent in all 11 games and over 47 percent in nine of the 11 games. Richmond is shooting 50.3 percent from the field, which ranks seventh in the nation and leads the Atlantic 10.

The Spiders entered the game third in the nation in two-point field goal percentage and made 23-of-42 shots from inside the three-point arc (.548) against Bucknell. Richmond is making 58.6 percent from inside the three-point arc.

The Spiders made eight three-pointers against Bucknell and has now made at least seven three-pointers in nine of 11 games this season.

This was the third time this season and the 31st time in Chris Mooney's four seasons that the Spiders have held a team to 60 points or less.

THE PLAYERS

Sophomore Justin Harper scored 18 points, one shy of his career high. Harper made a career-high seven field goals in nine attempts and connected on 3-of-4 three-pointers, his third-straight game with multiple three-pointers and the sixth time he has made at least two treys in a game this season. Harper also grabbed five rebounds.

Junior David Gonzalvez scored 14 points for his 12th-straight game in double-figures and the 41st double-figure scoring game of his career. Gonzalvez had five assists and three steals, giving him at least two steals in each of the last five games.

Sophomore Kevin Anderson scored 11 points for his 20th-straigth double-figure scoring game and 28th time in double-figures in 42 career games. Anderson also had four assists and two steals.

Sophomore Kevin Smith had seven points and a career-high seven rebounds.

Redshirt freshman Conor Smith had eight points, making two three-pointers. It was the third time this season that Smith has made multiple three-pointers in a game. He is shooting 44 percent from behind the arc (11-of-25).
