
No. 60 Virginia Tech Too Much For The Spiders

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Junior Pamela Duran took down Virginia Tech's Inga Beermann to win in singles play. Ashlee Vosters earned a win for Richmond beating out Jessica Brouwer and Yasmin Hamza in a 8-1 decision.
No. 60 Virginia Tech came to Richmond to take on the Spiders this past Saturday, March 1. The Hokies won four-of-six single matches, and two-of-three matches in doubles play to take down Richmond in a 5-2 decision.
Richmond's No. 1 player, Pamela Duran put on a great performance for the Spiders, winning in both singles play and in doubles with partner Ashlee Vosters. Freshman Kelly Tidwell also recorded a victory as an individual taking down Tech's fourth player J.J. Larson in a tie-break.
Richmond will head to the College of Charleston to take on both C of C and South Carolina State beginning March 10 and 11.
