First-Ever Spider Walk Planned For Saturday At 12:45

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The fourth-ranked Richmond Football Team begins a new tradition Saturday afternoon, with the first "Spider Walk" planned at UR Stadium at 12:45 p.m. Spider Fans are encouraged to arrive early and greet the team as it walks from the corner of Freeman and McCloy, through the tailgaters and in to UR Stadium.
The Spiders will depart campus by bus, arriving at UR Stadium at 12:45 p.m. near Spider Town. Coach London is encouraging parents, students, alumni, family and friends to line up and welcome the team with a huge ovation.
This event will become a regular tradition at all Spider home games, beginning with the Saturday's home-opener versus Towson. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. For ticket information, please call 1-877-SPIDER-1 or visit RichmondSpiders.com.
