Field Hockey Hosts La Salle And West Chester This Weekend

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond field hockey team returns to conference play to host La Salle on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Crenshaw Field.
Richmond is 6-7 overall and 1-0 in the Atlantic 10 with all seven losses coming to teams either ranked or receiving votes in the NFHCA Top-20 Poll.
The Spiders, who have won 55 of their last 60 games against Atlantic 10 teams, will play their final two home games of the season this weekend. Richmond will host West Chester on Sunday at noon for Senior Day.
Richmond senior Sarah Blythe-Wood, the reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, is 13th in the nation in points per game at 2.69 and 19th in the nation in goals per game at 1.09.
La Salle enters Friday's game at 5-9 overall, 0-1 in the Atlantic 10. West Chester enters the weekend 6-7 overall and 1-0 in the A-10.
