The Spiders have won 54 of their last 59 games against Atlantic 10 teams and have won five of the last seven conference championships.
Richmond is 5-6 on the season, with all six losses coming to teams ranked or receiving votes in the NFHCA Top-20 Poll.
Senior Sarah Blythe-Wood leads the Atlantic 10 in points (24) and goals (9). Sophomore Katelin Peterson scored seven goals and junior Dani Pycroft has six goals.
After opening conference play Friday against Saint Louis (1-10), the Spiders return to non-conference play to host James Madison on Sunday at 1 p.m.
