CHARLOTTE, N.C. -

Richmond owns a 9-3 record in the series, and has never faced the Flyers in the Atlantic 10 tournament. The Spiders improved to 3-3 in conference tournament play, and make their first appearance in the semifinal round under head coach Michael Shafer.
The winner of today's game will face the winner of Temple/Charlotte tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. The game is set to be televised on ESPN 2.
