UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - With the start of camp just days away, RichmondSpiders.com is your source for Training Camp coverage of the reigning NCAA Champion Richmond Football Team. You can find photo galleries, interviews, video highlights, team updates and much more, here on the Spiders' official site, on Twitter and on YouTube.
Head Coach Mike London welcomes his team back Sunday morning, and the Spiders will go through meetings, weight testing, photos, an NCAA compliance seminar and team dinner, before practice begins the following day.
The first official practice of the 2009 campaign is set for 4-6 p.m. Monday at FMS.
As always, practices are open to the public. But due to on-going construction on the Spiders' on-campus football stadium, fans are encouraged to park in the Special Events Lots (off Boatwright Drive, across from First Market Stadium) and follow the signs to the stadium entrance. Campus police will not ticket this lot after 3 p.m. on weekdays.
All practices will be held at First Market Stadium, but stay tuned to RichmondSpiders.com for changes in the practice schedule.
In addition, the 2009 Richmond Football Recruiting Guide is now available online and fans and media are encouraged to download the PDF of the guide, located here. The guide will not be sold to the public this season.
