Field Hockey Hosts Monmouth And Miami (OH) This Weekend

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond field hockey hosts Monmouth on Saturday at noon and Miami (OH) on Sunday at noon as the Spiders start a stretch of playing 10-straight games in the state of Virginia.

The Spiders are 2-4 on the season, but all four losses have come to teams that are ranked or receiving votes in the NFHCA Top-20 Poll. Three of Richmond's losses have come by one goal.

Richmond senior Sarah Blythe-Wood is tied for the Atlantic 10 lead in goal with seven and is second in the league with 16 points.

Monmouth enters Saturday's match with a 3-3 record. The Hawks are led by Enza Mazza, who has four goals and four assists for 12 points.

Miami enters the weekend at 2-4, coming off a 7-1 win over Ball Sate on Wednesday. The RedHawks play William & Mary on Saturday, before visiting Crenshaw Field on Sunday.
