
Defending Champs Play Lock Haven In A-10 Semis Friday

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The defending Atlantic 10 Champion Richmond field hockey team plays Lock Haven in the A-10 Semifinals Friday at 11 a.m. at Temple's Geasey's Field.
The Spiders have won six of the last eight Atlantic 10 Tournament titles, including last season. Richmond tied for second in the A-10 standings with Lock Haven with 5-2 records.
The Spiders are the No. 3 seed and Lock Haven is the No. 2 seed due to the Eagles 2-1 victory on Oct. 8 in Lock Haven, Pa. Lock Haven is in its first season as a member of the Atlantic 10 in field hockey.
Richmond is 66-8 in its last 74 games against Atlantic 10 teams.
No. 1 seed Massachusetts plays No. 4 seed Temple in the other semifinal Friday at 2 p.m. The championship game is on Saturday at 2 p.m.
