Sophomore Mary Flowers was named the A-10 Player of the Week after a career-best six goal outing in the 18-9 win over St. Bonaventure. Flowers ended the weekend with 10 goals and 11 ground balls.
Flowers is the second Spider in as many weeks to have garnered A-10 honors. (Erica Marrocco, A-10 Defensive Player of the Week, 4/12).
Flowers has notched 13 multi-goal games, 11 of which were hat tricks or better. Flowers' six goals tied a Spider season-high. The Virginia Beach, Va. native leads the team in goals (48), points (57), ground balls (58), draw controls (54) and caused turnovers (32). Flowers ranks 13th nationally in ground balls and 20th in caused turnovers per game (2.0).

Behind Flowers, the Spiders have secured the fourth regular season title in five years and look for its fourth A-10 crown overall.
