The Players:
A-10 Midfielder of the Year Mary Flowers scored a game-high five goals in Friday's win. Flowers has led Richmond in the last three games, including a career-best six goal outing against St. Bonaventure.
Flowers' 53 goals on the season ties Mandy Friend for fourth on Richmond's single-season scoring list.
Flowers has registered 14 multi-goal games, 12 of which were hat trick performances or better.
All-Rookie selection Gabi Wiegand scored another hat trick, marking her 12th multi-goal game. Wiegand has scored three times or more in 10 of those contests.
Julianne Nicola dished a career-high four assists in Richmond's seven-assist effort Friday.
The Team:
Richmond's five-game win streak is its longest since 2008.
The Spiders moved to 3-0 against the Owls in A-10 semifinals.
Richmond also improved to 8-4 all-time in A-10 Tournament games.
The Spiders return to their first conference championship game since 2007. Richmond defeated GW 15-7 for the title.
