The Players:
Richmond's leading scorer, Mary Flowers was held to just two goals in the 12-10 loss to UMass. It marked Flowers' lowest goal total since April 4th. (Two goals scored vs. William & Mary).
Flowers ended her stellar 2010 campaign with 55 goals; third-most for goals in a single season.
Flowers recorded 15 multi-goal games in 2010, the most on the team.
Gabi Wiegand notched another hat trick performance, her fourth-straight three goal or better game.
Wiegand ended her 2010 season with 13th multi-goal game, scoring three or more goals in 11 of those contests.
Julianne Nicola recorded a team-high 18 assists on the season.
The Team:
UMass snapped Richmond's five-game win streak; its longest since 2008.
Sunday marked the first game between the Minutewomen and the Spiders in the A-10 Tournament final.
Richmond fell to 2-3 all-time against UMass in the conference tournament.
Richmond's 10 goals were the fewest scored since a 11-10 loss to William & Mary on April 4th.
The Spiders entered Sunday's game with a 2-1 record in A-10 Finals.
Flowers, Wiegand and Anne Ryan were selected to the All-Tournament team.
