KINGSTON, R.I. - Ian Marshall matched his career-high with 10 strikeouts over seven strong innings, but the senior was out-dueled by a dominating two-hit, complete game from Tim Boyce and Rhode Island defeated Richmond, 6-0, Friday afternoon in the first game of an Atlantic 10 series in Kingston, R.I.
Rhode Island maintained its hold on second place in the A-10 and improved to 25-21 overall and 14-8 in the A-10, while the Spiders slipped to 22-25, 8-14.
