UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The University of Richmond Department of Athletics has announced that when single-game tickets go on sale August 1, the Towson game on October 23 will be the only home game in which tickets are currently available for purchase.
Following a pre-sale of single-game tickets to season ticket holders and Spider Club members, as well as University ticket obligations for students, Family Weekend, Homecoming, and the visiting team, the other five home games currently have no tickets available for purchase.
Parents involved with Family Weekend can order tickets through the Family Weekend registration website beginning August 2, alumni can order Homecoming tickets through the Alumni Office beginning August 23 and University faculty and staff members can order tickets to faculty/staff day through University Events when instructed.
The limited number of remaining tickets to the Towson game go on sale Sunday, August 1 at 9 a.m. online at www.RichmondSpiders.com and via phone/window on Monday, August 2 at 9 a.m. Tickets for away games are on sale beginning 9 a.m. on August 2 via phone at the Robins Center Ticket Office (1-877-SPIDER-1). At that time, tickets to all away games are available.
Should tickets become available for other home games -- either through the return of visitor and/or student tickets -- this information will be posted during the week of those home games at RobinsStadium.com, RichmondSpiders.com, on Twitter and Facebook.
The Spiders host Elon on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m. in the inaugural game at Robins Stadium. Richmond, which has a 16-3 record at home since 2007 and has claimed two CAA Football titles in that time, plays six home games in 2010.
