Swimming & Diving Back In The Pool Saturday At Virginia Tech

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - As the Richmond swimming & diving team continues its quest for the team's ninth Atlantic 10 Championship, the Spiders are back in the pool Saturday with a dual meet at Virginia Tech. The meet is set for 1 p.m.
Richmond capped off a successful first-half of the season Nov. 20 with a fifth-place finish at the Terrapin Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland. The Spiders posted a 7-2 record in dual meets over the first half, and have two meets remaining before the A-10 Championship commences in Buffalo, N.Y. on Feb. 23.
The Spiders recently completed their annual training trip to Florida.
Next Saturday, the Spiders host James Madison at the Robins Center Natatorium in the regular-season finale on Senior Day.
Richmond has garnered eight A-10 weekly honors to date, including three from freshman Mali Kobelja. The rookie owns the team's fastest times this season in the 100 and 200 breast and the 200 and 400 IM.
