East-West Shrine Game To Include Justin Rogers, Martin Parker

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The nation's longest-running and most respected postseason college all-star game is set to include two Richmond Spiders as Martin Parker and Justin Rogers have accepted invitations to play in this year's game.
The 86th Annual Game is January 22 at the Florida Citrus Bowl.
Rogers and Parker, who will each participate in the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine as well, are the sixth and seventh Spiders all-time to play in the East-West Shrine Game.
Richmond's other Shrine Game participants are: DE Lawrence Sidbury (2008), P/PK Brendan Toibin (1985), RB Barry Redden (1981), DB Jeff Nixon (1979) and RB Barty Smith (1974).
Among the other notable players nationwide to have accepted Shrine Game invitations are quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor (Virginia Tech), Scott Tolzien (Wisconsin) and Pat Devlin (Delaware). Rogers, Parker and Devlin are the only three representatives from CAA Football.
