Team Notes
- Richmond suffered its first loss to Maine in four games and now leads the all-time series with the Black Bears 12-11.
- The Spiders dropped their first post-bye week decision since 2005 with today's loss.
- Richmond is 43-15 (.741) since the start of the 2007 season when playing as a ranked team in the Sports Network/Fathead.com Top 25. The team is 19-13 versus Top 25 teams since the start of the 2007 season (10-9 versus Top 10 teams).
- Richmond, which has scored first in six of the team's seven games this season, is 3-3 when scoring first this season and is outscoring the opposition 43-7 in the first quarter on the year. Since the 2005 season, the Spiders have struck first in 53 of their 84 games and are 42-11 when doing so.
- Richmond is 48-5 since the start of 2004 when leading at the half.
- The Spiders are 35-8 since 2005 when scoring 20+ points (3-3 in 2011).

Player Notes
- Senior QB Aaron Corp has not thrown an interception in 147 pass attempts, dating back to Sept. 24 vs. UNH.
- Senior WR Tre Gray finished the game with 12 receptions to become Richmond's all-time receptions leader with 208. With his 128 yards today, he also sets a new school record in total receiving yards with 2,725.
- Senior CB Tremayne Graham recorded his first interception of the season and the sixth of his career with his first-quarter pick.
- Junior FB Kendall Gaskins' fourth-quarter fumble marked the first of his career in 277 touches of the ball (both receiving and rushing).
- Today's game was Gaskins' first game this season without scoring a TD.
- Freshman WR Stephen Barnette recorded his fourth TD of the season with his 6-yard TD reception in the first quarter.
- Sophomore WR Ben Edwards tallied his fourth TD of the year and the fifth of his career with his 6-yard second-quarter score.
- Senior RB Garrett Turner secured his second TD of the season and the seventh of his career with his early fourth-quarter score.
- Senior SS Colin Pehanick recorded his second-career forced fumble.
- Junior LB Derek Mayo came away with his first-career fumble recovery.
- Junior DB Cooper Taylor recorded his first interception at Richmond with his early fourth-quarter pick.
- Freshman DB DeShawn Holmes has been credited with two of the Spiders' three blocked punts this season.
