"I'm proud of the four players who competed in regional's," says head coach, Mark Wesselink. "It's not easy staying fit and healthy. As a team, we need to manage that component better if we are going to make a run at 4 straight A-10 championships. Melissa Kandinata has gained some valuable experience this fall. She finished with a nice win. Elizabeth Sims also played her best singles of the fall and looks ready to step up to a higher level."
The Spiders spring season will begin with a tournament at Virginia Commonwealth University, January 20-22, 2012.
